Rodeway Inn @ 1103 N Coast Hwy, Oceanside, CA

Was pleasantly surprised, for Rodeway Inn's supposed to be the lower end of the Choice Hotels, the room had Marble Counters, new carpet, very spacious room, was within walking distance to the Beach and Port.  The front desk staff was nice and helpful, but the hallways were freezing, glad the heater worked great in my room, Free Wi-Fi worked excellent and all my clients that came to the room were happy to have finally seen the inside of the hotel, and most of them said they would start to recommend them to out of town visitors.

Days Inn @ 1500 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA

Very spacious room, nice Hard Wood Floor, but the Heater was broke the fist night I was there, the room they wanted to move me to would not have worked for my purposes, so I stayed in the room, but surprised they did not have emergency maintenance, had to wait till the morning with it freezing outside and the heater had to be replaced, was non fixable, which seems like someone would have know before I got there.  They also had to turn the water off one day without notifying the guests, glad I was not in the shower when it happened.  The front desk staff was nice over all though, and the property was kept pretty clean.  A bit of a distance from the Ocean, but with the cold weather, it was fine. Free Wi-Fi worked pretty good.

Comfort Inn @ 2201 Hotel Circle S, San Diego, CA

Was a very nice room, very clean and spacious, enjoyed the Hot Tub and Breakfasts, but the guys shoving food fliers through my door every night, sometimes up to 5 different guys.  I complained to the Front Desk and they said they could not stop the, sounds like someone at the property is getting a kick back from restaurants to allow the delivery.  It cost $10 per night to park your vehicle on the property and there are no restaurants really within walking distance so you have to drive or get a ride if you are hungry. Free Wi-Fi worked pretty good.

Comfort Inn @ 2775 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA

Front Desk staff was very friendly, not just when you checked in, but every time you walk in the door, they ask how your day was, and if they can get anything for you. Was a good location, close to Fisherman's Wharf, great breakfast every morning, I flew but I know there is a cost for parking, but most places in the City do charge for parking.  Room was very nice, a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Free Wi-Fi worked great.

Quality Inn @ 1269 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA

Nice room, a bit off the beaten path, but was nice and quite at night, accidentally left my room partially open one night when I went to get something to eat, and no one went into my room.  Front desk staff was very friendly, and assisted with questions.  Roomy room, great comfortable bed and Free Wi-Fi worked great.

Holloway Motel @ 8465 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA

Would never recommend anyone stay at this hotel, the room that I had reserved, they informed me that the people that had been in it, had decided to not check out, the room they put me into had food left on the wall, the Window A/C was broke so they had a floor unit in the closet, which made the closet unusable space, the TV was broke, the beds were very uncomfortable.  The front desk clerk was using drugs right out in the open, then going back behind the counter all tweaked out.  There is not enough parking for the number of rooms they have, so I made sure not to move my truck after I got there, not sure where I would have parked when I got back.  The Free Wi-Fi was spotty at best.  The only good thing was it was in West Hollywood.

Was on a very busy street, with almost no parking available most days. Room was decent size, Wi-Fi was almost not usable, the room itself had hard wood floors and plenty of space.

Quality Inn @ 1403 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA

Was very disappointed in this property, the room I reserved, which they only had one of was fumigated that day for buts, so I was unable to get that room, they put me in an upgraded room, but my reservation was not transferred to the new room, so every morning, very early, House Keeping would know on my door, wanting know who I was and what I was doing in the room.  My payment also included breakfast, but they were repairing their kitchen so they did not serve any breakfast at all, but yet I was still charged.  The Free Wi-Fi kept going down, had to keep calling sometimes 5 - 6 times a day to see what was wrong.  It was a bit of a party property, almost every night there was someone falling up the stairs, bu there was no security to take care of this issue.  Tried to use the laundry room, but it was always busy, and the people that was using it, would not come down and move to dryers for hours at a time, I didn't want them to destroy my laundry, so I didn't touch theirs.  When I was checking out, I requested a partial refund, the Manager did give me a bit of a refund, but not much for all the issues.

Motel 6 @ 2353 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA

Not much for amenities, room was not very clean when I checked in, was put in a back corner, but it was still noisy with all the parties going on every night, walls were paper thin, could hear the women next door having sex very clearly, was almost like they were in my room.  Desk staff was not very pleasant, very cold and distant.  Was very close to the Ocean which was nice to walk down to along with Downtown San Diego.

Travelodge @ 2050 4th Ave, Yuma, AZ

Very ran down property, front desk person did not speak English when I was trying to check in or out, room smelled funny when I first got there, luckily, I travel with air freshener, ended up leaving a day early as I felt dirty every time I went into my room.

Quality Inn @ 1300 N Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ

Great location, not far from Downtown Tucson, plenty of free parking, great breakfast and very clean property.  Don't really have any complaints about his location, which is a good thing.

Rodeway Inn @ 616 S 200 W, Salt Lake City, UT

Ended up leaving a day early, couldn't really stand to be there the extra day.  When I first checked in, they put me on the 4th floor which half the floor was smoking, and they didn't tell me.  I didn't even make it one night, I was getting nauseous so I went down and complained about the smoke, and that is when they informed me of the smoking situation, so they moved me to another room on another floor, which was a bit better, but the chair had a tear and stain in it, the bed was awful, the hallways were dirty, and the vending machines were all broken, so it really made for a bad sign when clients would come in.  The parking lot had a lot of activity going on, and my alarm on my Truck was set off once from someone trying to get in. The staff was nice, but they don't have a very good product to work with.  It is okay for a Low Budget place, but I will not stay their again.  Should have paid a bit more and went back to Red Lion Hotel across the street.

Aspen Square Condo's @ 617 E Cooper Ave, Aspen, CO

Beautiful property, not a lot of parking though, but I didn't need to move my truck after I parked so it was fine.  Was a full kitchen, enjoyed sitting out on the balcony drinking tea in the mornings, was a huge room, would have been nice to have had a couple of clients, but was a bit of a vacation for me.  Condo's were within walking distance to everything in town and the conciser was very helpful.

Best Inn & Suites @ 4590 Quebec St, Denver, CO

Should have been called Worst Inn & Suites, was further out of town then I thought, was hard to be found by some clients.  Was a long term residence, and there were a lot of drugs going on in the parking lot.  Was a kitchenette, but the fridge made weird noises, they had decided to stop providing toilet paper after your first roll so you would have to purchase your own.  They were doing construction in the lobby so quite dirty and noise when you would come in.  Carpets with filthy in the room and hallways.  Bed was not comfortable.

Quality Inn @ 3011 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM

Hotel has no Elevator so I got a first floor room, they were doing some construction on the hotel, room was quite large with new carpet.  They were changing over from Cable to Direct TV so that changed in the middle of my stay.  Breakfast was good, got up every morning, had Eggs, Sausage, Waffles and Apple Juice, very filling.  Back security doors didn't lock which was a bit scary, was some transients in the parking lot.

Red Lion Hotel @ 161 W 600 S, Salt Lake City, UT

Very nice size room and very clean, the hotel was very close to downtown, seemed like a pretty safe area, plenty of parking for clients and Laundry was open 24 hours.  Very good restaurant attached to the Hotel, not to pricey.

Red Lion Hotel @ 1800 W Fairview Ave, Boise, ID

Great location, plenty of parking and restaurants close by, right across the street from a Gay Bar so was able to get out a bit.  Room was quite large had plenty of space for the table even with 2 Queen Beds in the room.  Not much to complain about with the Hotel.

Red Lion Hotel @ 2300 Evergreen Park Dr, Olympia, WA

Nice Hotel, was in Olympia for a Training Seminar so didn't do a lot of business which was fine, I would try Olympia again possibly, plus I have friends in Olympia.  Not a lot of places to eat real close to the Hotel though and a bit of a distance from Central Olympia which was a down fall.

Red Lion Hotel - Jantzen Beach @ 909 N Hayden Island Dr, Portland, OR

Enjoyed being on the River, was on an Island between Portland and Vancouver, WA clients didn't seem bother the clients coming to the Island.  Room was quite large, very clean property.

Eldorado Hotel @ 345 N Virginia St, Reno, NV

Nice Hotel right on the Strip, but the room was so small, I couldn't put my table in so I had to use the bed to do massages.  It worked, and once clients saw how small the room was, they didn't mind.  When I first arrived, I was delayed going to my room as the electricity was off for the guest floors.  Didn't happen again after I got to my room, but was weird.

America's Best Value Inn @ 167 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV

Great location just off the Strip, room was plenty big but huge property, was a bit noise at times, but it is Vegas.  Laundry room was open 24 hours which was convenient.  When I left I forgot my Mini-Laptop and had to have them FedEx it to me, which they did, and I had no problems while there or communicating with them after I left.
